Windsor Lane enjoys the opportunity to work closely with the families from the local Gibsonburg, Ohio and surrounding areas, including Fremont, Clyde, Pemberville, Fostoria, Bowling Green, Findlay, Toledo, Woodville, Genoa, Oak Harbor, Port Clinton, Tiffin and Elmore.
These beautifully decorated home-like rooms serve to make your stay comfortable. Our goal is to assist you in attaining the highest level of health possible through personalized quality care.
Long Term Care
If the time comes that additional assistance is needed, Windsor Lane is here to help. Your health and comfort are important to us. We offer shared long term care rooms which are designed for optimum living, and having recently expanded our accommodations – we now offer even more private rooms.
Whether choosing a private or a shared room, your individuality is important to us. We invite you to bring cherished possessions to personalize your room and create your home away from home.
Respite Care is available at Windsor Lane to provide caregivers with an opportunity to pause and renew for a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months. Whether needing to refresh your own energy, planning a trip out of town or seeking a safe place to care for your loved one while you recover for your own healthcare needs, Serenity Lane is designed to give you peace of mind, and your loved one a sense of home away from home.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association, “Alzheimer’s caregivers frequently report experiencing high levels of stress. It can be overwhelming to take care of a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, but too much stress can be harmful to both of you.” Caregivers can get burned out overtime, and it’s OK – because you are human too. One of the ways to ensure both you and your loved one remain happy, energized and healthy is to “consider taking advantage of respite care so you can spend time doing something you enjoy. Respite care provides caregivers with a temporary rest from caregiving, while the person with Alzheimer’s disease continues to receive care in a safe environment.”
If you or a caregiver you know is feeling burned out and exhausted, maybe it’s time for a short break. Give both yourself and your loved one a brief vacation to relax, rest and reenergize. You can be assured your loved one will receive the utmost care during your time away, and when you are ready, you’ll both return home with a renewed sense of life.

The peaceful North Wing at Windsor Lane offers beautiful, home-like private rooms that are available for residents and families that have chosen to receive Hospice Care.
Privacy and comfort are supported by a compassionate staff working in cooperation with area hospice agencies. Caring for and about our residents and family is our first priority during this sensitive time.
Our on-site Therapy Department offers Physical, Speech and Language, Occupational, and Lymphedema Therapy services. In addition, Restorative Nursing Care offers ongoing support to residents in need of long term assistance with ambulation.
We host a spacious therapy department that offers ample room to those receiving therapy services and is also available to residents for exercise and muscle strengthening programs. The therapy and nursing departments work together to continue healing and increase mobility toward a goal of improved independence.
Therapy staff can also perform assessments in the home environment prior to discharge as part of the discharge planning process. Windsor Lane Health Care Center utilizes Life Fitness Exercise equipment to assist our residents in their rehabilitation stays.
